CalvinsBrew It means just that. In war time, some usually “over the top” means will be “too weak”. But asking that question like that seems to hint that the peace time rules still apply. Taking harsher measures, like boots on the ground, has too dangerous implications. So sanctions it is.🤷♂️On twitter.com

CalvinsBrew That’s not to say that there aren’t unacceptable means in war times. There are. That’s how you get into war crimes and the Geneva convention stuff. Suspending national teams of a country invading another sovereign nation isn’t one of them, as far as I know. But I’m not a lawyer.Permalink On twitter.com
