    nloureiro chrismessina In short, NFTs are not ethereum exclusive. The ecological footprint will always be an issue on proof of work chains. For it to go beyond luxury/art collectors, marketplaces will need to embrace other alternatives or public won’t even consider them (like Nuno’s example).

      nloureiro chrismessina I’m really looking fwd to seeing gaming embrace it on major titles and introduce it to the masses with “affordable” tokens for rare items that empower cross-overs and licensing opportunities between games. + trading between gamers with royalties for game publishers.

        nloureiro chrismessina And to wrap it up: next couple of months gonna be super interesting. Will Ethereum be able to adapt fast enough before other chains built on proof of stake can prepare and conquer the market with cheaper and more ecological alternatives? 🤔 #cardano #polkadot
