@ChrisHBrown55 dan_abramov The reverse is an option too <ul><li data-initial></ul> for server-side/initial render lis. New <li>, plain. Set animation on li:not([data-initial]) No need(I think)to unset, just use animation-iteration-count. (Initially, I thought Dan meant this case: andr3.net/blog/post/142)
