Page Zoom is specific to a domain and User Preference is global to all websites visited. Different use cases. And I'm not convinced users are always that tech savvy to know the difference. 1/3

      saschawolff1 a_sandrina_p luis_sserrano I once dealt with a bug report from a 60 year old who had changed the preference of user text in the browser and didn’t even think about that when the layout looked weird/hid content. 2/3

        saschawolff1 a_sandrina_p luis_sserrano So in summary… I think they are used by different people and in different scenarios. Page zoom is far more robust and less prone to breaking. User preference can look very bad if we don’t test for it. I think rems keep the look much closer to intention and less distorted. 3/3
