@NickKaramoff gitlab Nikita you are absolutely right. We have identified this problem ever since we released the option of toggling between the file tree and file list. It turned out to require a considerate amount of effort so it’s in our roadmap and we hope to solve that dissonance soon.On twitter.com

@NickKaramoff gitlab Diving deeper, the order in the MR is given by the backend and we render the file tree properly on the frontend. Rearranging the files would break the render queue algorithm we have in place to support really large MRs. So we kept it iterative and will work on a solution soon.Permalink On twitter.com
